The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, avoided the meeting of the contact group in the Ramstein format, as in it will be 14 fierce near Brussels.
The Pentagon's spokesman, Patrick Ryder, reported this to RBC-Ukraine with a message to the department's press service.
“The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, is the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee “General Charles Brown will travel to Brussels this coming year to hold a special meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine on the 14th. There will be a 19th meeting since Austin formed the international group for the 2022 budget,” said the Pentagon river officer. y.
Following this, representatives of the US Department of Defense are meeting with the defense ministers and high-ranking Soviets from as many as 50 countries to discuss the war in Ukraine and the support from the side of international cooperation that is necessary for protection of the territory of the region.
“Being in Brussels, Austin also have a lot to do with the NATO Defense Ministers 15 years ago at NATO headquarters,” added Ryder.
