Direct speech : “Two days ago, the Russian Federation organized a meeting of the Security Council to recall the events of 10 years ago. Russia stated that discussing the Revolution of Dignity would allow Council members to better understand how these events affected the current situation in Ukraine.”

Details : He called it absurd and emphasized that at the same time Moscow was developing a large-scale missile and air strike on Ukraine.

“That's what Russia has been diverting the parliament's attention to this week as it plans its largest air attack on Ukraine, its cities and critical infrastructure since the illegal full-scale invasion began,” Kelly said.

In this regard, he confirmed the US position announced on Friday by President Biden, calling the Russian attack a “stern reminder” that Putin has not abandoned his goals of destroying Ukraine and emphasizing that he must be stopped.

“We have asked all members of the Security Council to join us in strongly condemning this heinous attack on cities and civilian infrastructure across Ukraine,” the US spokesman said.

He also stressed that any criminal lie by the Russians about supposed “strikes against military targets” will not erase or hide the ruins throughout the country, as well as the thousands of innocent victims lost since the beginning of the war.
