The Ukrainian defense industry grew six times in 2023. More than half of these opportunities have already been contracted.
RBC-Ukraine reports about this with a message to the Minister of Strategic Industry Oleksandr Kamishin at the forum “Ukraine. Rick 2024”.
“Last year, our defense industry grew three times more than in 2022. Our capabilities for 2023 are six times greater than last year. We are expecting close to half of these capacities to be contracted for 2024. Pratsu Together with the Ministry of Defense, the Defense Forces for further contracting “, – stated the minister.
He noted that the Ukrainian defense industry consists of 500 enterprises that work on the design, repair, production and maintenance of everything that is sold to Ukraine so much army. According to Kamishin, there are about 400 private companies and 100 state-owned ones.
The Minister of Strategic Industries added that Ukraine had increased its production of ammunition, and new positions began to emerge. Therefore, Ukraine is also increasing the production of shells.
The destruction of Ukrainian production
