However, just last year we increased our defense industry threefold. this year we expect a six-fold increase,” said Anna Gvozdyar at the Global Outlook: A Winning Vision conference organized by the European Business Association.

“We are talking about ammunition, ammunition casings. They can be produced by civilian companies that have the appropriate equipment, and in this direction we are also moving,” said Gvozdyar.
The Deputy Minister noted that another niche is in the component market. According to her, many manufacturers of drones and UAVs still buy components abroad, while one of the existing priorities is to equip them with domestically produced parts.
“Our drones should depend on and consist of Ukrainian components so much , as far as possible,” said Gvozdyar.
