Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that NATO and the European Union, through Ukraine, have effectively declared war on Russia and are directly involved in it, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to TASS. Speaking at the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting, Lavrov said that the “crisis” in Ukraine was “provoked by the collective West,” emphasizing that NATO and the EU are conducting actions against Russia “through Ukraine” and are directly participating in the conflict.
These remarks came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Ukraine could reclaim territories seized by Russia and described Russia as a “paper tiger.”
