Germany made a statement about its readiness to provide assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 8 billion euros. Moreover, the German authorities will actively continue to campaign for the approval at the beginning of 2024 of an aid package for the Ukrainian state worth 50 billion euros at the EU level.

As NBN reports with reference to Bloomberg, the official stated this during a briefing representative of the German Foreign Ministry Christian Wagner.
So, according to the representative of the Foreign Ministry, “under any circumstances and developments, the European Union will continue to provide support to Ukraine” throughout 2024.
He added that military support for Ukraine from Germany is already planned at the level of 8 billion euros. It will be provided to Ukraine throughout 2024. In addition, Berlin will continue to “vigorously fight” for approval of a €50 billion aid package at European Union level.
