On Friday afternoon, December 29, a terrorist state staged a repeated attack on our country; the city of Smela, Cherkasy region, came under attack. The police department and the regional military administration reported on the consequences of the shelling.

About 15:00 the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces sounded the alarm, reporting the movement of missiles from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation to the Sumy and Cherkassy regions. Explosions occurred in the regions, NBN reports.
Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Kuleba in his Telegram channel announced a missile hit in the city of Smela, Cherkasy region. According to the official, six people were injured as a result of the attack, one was seriously wounded. Twelve private houses were damaged.
The head of the Cherkassy police department, Igor Taburets, confirmed the information from the police department about a missile hitting a residential area and six casualties. The official noted that all services are working at the site of the attack.
Recall that this morning the Russian invaders launched a missile attack on Konotop, Sumy region. The regional military administration spoke about the consequences of enemy shelling.
