At the end of last year, the government approved a modified process regarding the algorithm for deducting payments of housing and communal services subsidies and similar benefits to Ukrainians.

About how, in accordance with Resolution No. 1404 , The Pension Fund of Ukraine will begin to implement the government program of social support for the population, managing budget funds at the appropriate level, writes NBN, citing a document posted on the official page of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
In particular, according to amendments to the legislation, budget allocations will be directed to payments in the following areas:
- subsidies for payment of housing and communal services (HCS), purchase of solid/liquid fuel and liquefied “blue gas” fuel”;
- on accrual of funds/benefits when paying for housing and communal services and purchase of the above-described types of household fuel.
In addition, based on this government document, PFU will be able transfer money as housing and utility subsidies to recipients:
- those with accounts opened in authorized state banks (until the 5th day of the next month after calculating the amount of social assistance);
- having entered into an agreement with organizations that pay and delivery pension benefits, for example, Ukrposhta (until the 25th day of the next month after calculating the amount of social assistance).
