The representative of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Yuriy Ignat, explained why on Monday morning, January 8, during the attack of Russian invaders on the cities of Ukraine, the air defense destroyed only 18 out of 24 missiles.

The colonel responded to statements that today there was allegedly a low percentage of missile elimination. According to Ignat, the percentage of destruction of enemy targets remains the same. At the same time, Putin’s occupation forces fired at Ukraine with a large amount of ballistics, which can only be shot down by certain air defense systems, for example, the Patriot air defense system.
The Air Force Speaker noted that he would like to destroy more missiles, but 18 of the 24 missiles eliminated were also a good result. The military man drew attention to the fact that the Russian Armed Forces had reduced the number of attack weapons.
Note that in the morning the Russians fired at least nine missiles at Krivoy Rog. The head of the city's Defense Council, Alexander Vilkul, reported the details and consequences of the shelling.
