About the fact that a bus with Ukrainian registration plates, carrying 24 passengers (in addition to 2 drivers), overturned on a road in the Lublin Voivodeship (Poland), as a result of which 3 injured people were sent to hospitalization in local medical institution, writes “NBN”, referring to the official page of the police of the city of Biala Podlaska.
As it became known, the cause of the accident was a discrepancy between the speed limit of the bus and unfavorable weather conditions: at the time of the accident, after the fall snow, the road became icy, and a “difficult traffic situation” arose.
Also, the 63-year-old, absolutely sober driver of this bus, traveling on the route “Riga-Chernivtsi”, in the specified conditions, simply could not control the control, as a result of which the vehicle skidded at the turn, and it fell to the right the side of the road, catching an energy-absorbing fence, and turned over, crashing into trees.
According to updated information provided by the Consul General of Ukraine in Lublin Oleg Kuts, as a result of the accident, two citizens of our country were injured – the driver himself and the passenger ( suffered rib fractures).
The uninjured passengers have already been placed in a temporary place of stay in the municipality of Wisznica (in a local educational institution, where they are being questioned by the police). At the same time, the carrier company Ecolines has already sent a new bus, which should pick up passengers after completion of all procedural measures.
Earlier we wrote about the fact that near Chernigov in the on the highway, a truck rammed a school bus with children.
