In the ISW analytical material, the commander of the OSGV “Tavria” Alexander Tarnavsky is quoted, who said that in the area of Avdeevka, Donetsk region, the occupying forces of the Russian Federation are actively using armored vehicles to deploy and support their infantry, NBN reports.
Experts, citing the general’s words, write that such tactics of Putin’s troops have led to the fact that over the past three days they have lost 41 units of combat vehicles, including in particular, 17 tanks.
As the military leader explained, the “second army of the world” usually uses one or two tanks, several armored personnel carriers and MTLBs to transport infantry before a quick retreat, after which the Ukrainian Armed Forces cover the enemy’s armored vehicles.
Earlier, Alexander Shtupun, a representative of the Tauride Defense Forces, reported that near Avdeevka, Russian occupation forces had increased their assault pressure. The colonel told how many invaders the Russian Federation is holding in this direction.
