The head of the press center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Natalia Gumenyuk, reported that the Russian occupation forces began to launch Kamikaze “Shahed” drones across our country in small groups, explaining the enemy’s tactics.
Speaker of the operational command ” South” drew attention to the fact that on the night of Monday, January 22, the troops of the Russian Federation launched only eight Shahed attack UAVs across Ukraine, NBN reports with reference to Channel 24.
Gumenyuk explained that after the “demilitarization” of the A-50 reconnaissance aircraft, the Russian invaders lost actual guidance on specific targets. Now the “liberators” are trying to streamline their activities by launching drones across Ukraine in small groups.
With this tactic, according to the head of the press center, the invaders want to find out what and how it works in order to more effectively use UAVs or use aviation for additional reconnaissance.
The speaker of OK “South” added that on the night of January 22, the Russian Armed Forces tried to disperse drones across the regions in order to try to deplete our air defense.
Remember, ISW analysts told how attacks by Ukrainian UAVs on Russia revealed the vulnerability of the air defense of the “second army of the world.”
