Today it became known that the Turkish Parliament has ratified Sweden's application regarding the country's entry into the North Atlantic Alliance.
As NBN reports with reference to Bloomberg, now only Hungary remains the only Alliance country that has not yet made a decision on Sweden.
After months of delays and discussions, the Turkish parliament finally gave its consent to the expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. At today's plenary meeting, Turkish parliamentarians ratified Sweden's application to join the North Atlantic Alliance.
Now the document is sent to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He must sign it and submit it to the US State Department.
Remember that we previously wrote that Fico promised to block Ukraine’s entry into NATO.
