In our country, the pension department does not limit citizens to accruing only one, unified type of benefit, giving recipients the right to independently choose the type of social support, which, moreover, varies in amounts.

About the fact that in Ukraine there are several types of social support for citizens, but you can only receive one of them, writes NBN, referring to the official page of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).
In particular, the pension legislation of Ukraine provides for 4 different types of social assistance, and citizens can count on a choice from:
- age benefits, assigned upon accumulation of the required amount of insurance length of service upon reaching 60+ years;
- disability benefits, cause, group, and the time of occurrence of which, including the deadline, must be justified in the medical and social examination body;
- benefits for the loss of a breadwinner, due to disabled persons who were previously supported by the deceased;
- benefits for long service, paid to certain categories of the population who previously performed a type of work that could lead to the loss of professional ability to work .
Earlier we wrote about the fact that the PFU informed which of citizens the government is obliged to pay an additional 1 000 hryvnia monthly.
