The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, spoke about weapons that are urgently needed by the Defense Forces. The lieutenant general emphasized that Ukraine is in dire need of military assistance from Western partners.
The military leader said that our army is faced with a critical shortage of ammunition. The country's chief intelligence officer called shells one of the most decisive factors in this war, emphasizing that Ukraine needs them in large quantities.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces need artillery systems, NBN reports with reference to CNN.
The Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the MOU clarified that the Defense Forces need to significantly increase the number of guns, of any type and age. Budanov explained that years of combat have caused damage to these long-range weapons of the Ukrainian troops.
The general noted that the defenders in the UAVs are more or less on an equal footing with the Russian Federation. At the same time, the enemy is constantly learning from its experience, so the use of drones on the battlefield will gain momentum.
The military leader added that it would be nice for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to receive A-10 attack aircraft. These American combat aircraft would really help defeat the aggressor country.
Note that in an interview with the British media, Budanov predicted when the defenders would launch a new counter-offensive.
