Last year, on November 4, a series of explosions occurred in the territory of temporarily occupied Kerch (Crimea) – the Defense Forces of our country launched a missile attack on the docks of the Zaliv shipyard, disabling several enemy ships , including the “innovative” missile corvette “Askold”.
About the fact that as a result of the attack described above, the Askold, which is a carrier of the Caliber cruise missiles, was damaged, which the occupiers intended to launch and promptly introduce into the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, no later than December 2023, however, at the moment, the Kremlin has abandoned such long-term plans, writes NBN, citing photographic evidence published in the X-account of OSINT researcher MT Anderson.
In particular, the “digital” analyst posted satellite photographs dated December 2 last and January 30 this year, and on these images it is impossible to see any changes in the condition of the Russian Black Sea Fleet warship: it can be done a simple conclusion—after a missile attack on the Zaliv plant in Kerch, the corvette is either not subject to restoration, or this process is beyond the power of the occupiers.
The analyst emphasized:
The Russian Navy appears to believe it can be fixed, but in on what time frame is the question we need to ask. Perhaps they will answer us?
Earlier, we wrote about that , that Defense Express talked about the uniqueness of the operation to destroy Askold.
