The Russian Defense Ministry announced the prevention of an attempt by the “Kyiv regime” to carry out a “terrorist attack” in the Belgorod region with a strike from the RM-70 Vampire MLRS. Shoigu claims that the air defense over the territory of the region allegedly destroyed 7 missiles, NBN reports.
At the same time, the ASTRA Telegram channel of Russian independent journalists and other public pages of the Russian Federation said that as a result of the attack on regional center, a fire occurred at a reinforced concrete structures plant.
It is reported that a shell hit the boiler room of the ZhBK-1 industrial facility and the metal products workshop. As a result of the arrival, a fire broke out at the enterprise, footage of which was shown on the Internet.
Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that in the regional center in two high-rise buildings, windows were broken, about 15 cars were damaged by shrapnel, according to preliminary data, there are two victims.
The Putin official added that there was also damage on the territory of one of the enterprises.
Previously, the Russian Federation announced an attack on the region on February 5. As a result of the strike, two occupiers were injured.
