As NBN reports, during a government meeting Denis Shmyhal said that over the past year, Ukraine increased the production of mortar shells by 42 times, artillery ammunition by 2.5 times.
Verbatim from Shmygal’s statement:
We are also seeing huge changes in the production of ammunition. Last year, the production of mortar shells was increased by 42 times, and artillery shells by 2.5 times. A new growth peak is expected in 2024. All this will be facilitated by the deregulation that has already been carried out.
In addition, according to Shmygal, algorithms for the development and commissioning of products have been created, which will attract even more Ukrainian manufacturers to fulfill defense orders.
Let us recall that we previously wrote that Kuleba announced three steps that need to be taken to increase the supply of ammunition to Ukraine.
