About  ;the way German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz justified himself regarding the refusal to promptly supply these missiles to Ukraine, writes NBN, referring to the broadcast of the Munich Security Conference, broadcast on the DW YouTube channel.
As it became known, immediately after Scholz’s speech, the politician was asked several times questions regarding the reasons why Germany had not yet supplied Ukraine with Taurus long-range missiles, to which the German Chancellor replied – his country is spending more this way in total in Europe” (for the provision of weapons to Kiev).
Also, in response to subsequent clarifications about the factors that caused the above inhibition, Scholz added:
It is important to make the right decisions at the right moment. And we will make these decisions.
Thus, the German functionary again did not give an intelligible answer, and only hinted—Germany is ready to supply Ukraine with these missiles, but only “step by step.” ;step by step,” and due to “making the right decisions.”
Earlier, we wrote that on February 16, Scholz promised to send a new package of military assistance to Ukraine.
