In an interview with the British publication The Telegraph, the adviser to the head of the OPU noted that in Ukrainian society there is a consensus that during hostilities it is impossible to ensure a truly transparent competitive electoral process, NBN reports. .
According to the official, today it is impossible to resolve the issue with the financial side of this process, as well as with the parameters of security and political competition.
At the same time, a representative of Zelensky’s Office does not exclude that citizens’ opinion regarding presidential election may change. In this case, the country's leadership will talk about it.
Podolyak added that today the head of state is an absolutely legitimate figure, since Ukrainians consider him legitimate, which is legally confirmed.
