Head of the Foreign Ministry in an interview with Reuters, he noted that Kiev appreciates the provision of air defense systems by partners, but their number is not enough, given the scale of hostilities, NBN reports.
According to the diplomat, the allies have more than a hundred Patriot air defense systems at their disposal, however, they are still not ready to fulfill the minimum request of the Ukrainian leadership to provide such 5-7 systems. The minister emphasized that strengthening the country's air defense is simply a matter of the political will of partners.
The Foreign Minister assured that he is not exaggerating when he talks about the threat of war in Europe and Russian strikes on Brussels in the event of Ukraine's defeat in the war . Kuleba added that the best way to prevent rocket attacks and the death of soldiers of allied states is to transfer Patriot to Kyiv and provide everything that the Ukrainian Armed Forces need.
Previously, President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine needs Patriot air defense systems to protect Kharkov and others cities that constantly terrorize the RF Armed Forces.
