On the morning of Friday, April 19, the Russian occupation army shelled the Dnepropetrovsk region, thus continuing to commit war crimes against the civilian population of Ukraine.

About the fact that as a result of an enemy strike in the region, 9 civilians were killed, including two children, and ;more than 30 were injured of varying degrees of severity, while the number of victims of the terrorist state continues to grow, writes NBN, citing the official Telegram channel of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Dmitry Lubinets.
According to Lubinets, he has already sent an appeal to more than 700 international partners of Ukraine, as well as similar organizations, with a request to convey to their governments/parliaments the urgent need for:
- public condemnation Russian shelling of civilian settlements in Ukraine, as well as murders of civilians;
- taking specific steps to punish the aggressor country;
- providing assistance to Ukraine, in particular, air defense systems /PRO, which will help protect the lives of children, women and the elderly.
The Ombudsman added – the above request was sent to the UN, the European Council, the OSCE, the Red Cross and other international organizations, national institutions on human rights issues, fellow ombudsmen, not excluding the 50 human rights committees of the parliaments of the world.
