The British intelligence report says that the Russian Guard is a military formation of the aggressor country , which is subordinate to the Kremlin dictator, NBN reports with reference to the social network page of the X Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom.
More than 30,000 soldiers of the Russian Guard are currently deployed on Ukrainian territory, the main combat unit of which is the 116th Special Brigade appointment.
The department recalled that in May the Russian Guard integrated the “Vostok” battalion of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” into its ranks. At the same time, in March, the Russian Federation did not implement the agreement on the subordination of the forces of the Wagner PMC to the 1st Volunteer Corps of the Russian Guard.
The main task of the employees of the military formation of the occupying army is to protect the rear areas, however, several of its units take part in hostilities on the front line.
