During a briefing, a representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry recalled that our country is most eager for peace, but it must be achieved on fair terms, NBN reports with reference to the LIGA.net publication.
Commenting on the possible presence of representatives of a terrorist state at the second Global Peace Summit, the Foreign Ministry spokesman noted that the issue is not about getting Russia to sit down at the negotiating table, but about the Russian side conducting a dialogue honestly and fairly.
According to him, to achieve the appropriate result, pressure on Moscow is necessary on the battlefield and in the international arena. If the Kremlin continues to refuse the negotiation process, it will be clear to everyone who is striving for peace and who is striving for war.
Tikhiy reported that the Ukrainian leadership is considering several places to hold the next Global Peace Summit, adding that he will not reveal all the cards prematurely.
Recall that the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell named a condition for Russia's participation in the second Global Peace Summit.
