As reported by NBN with reference to the results of a social survey posted on the official website of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), less than 50 percent of Ukrainians stated that specialized government agencies are effectively fighting against corrupt actions of officials, deputies and other employees.
In particular, according to 40 percent of respondents, only ordinary Ukrainians actually successfully resist corruption, but KIIS analysts did not specify how exactly. At the same time, about 22 percent of respondents believe that their compatriots ignore such a fight for their rights.
In addition, 24 percent of respondents indicated the ineffectiveness of NABU as an anti-corruption body, while 37 percent noted the opposite.
Also, 30 percent of Ukrainians believe that the National Police are more successful in the fight against financial fraud, but 43 percent of respondents have the opposite opinion.
