For almost the entire week, Ukrenergo refused to introduce restrictions on electricity supply, since the energy resource generated by the system's capacities was sufficient to cover all the country's needs.

As reported by NBN with reference to a statement posted on the Facebook account of the head of the board of Ukrenergo, Vladimir Kudritsky, due to significant damage to power generation facilities by Russian strikes (and those not repaired), when the ambient air temperature reaches above +30 degrees Celsius, the situation in the power system will change for the worse, and we should expect a return to the schedules of hourly power outages (HPO).
According to Kudritsky, the above-described introduction of the GPO is possible with the onset of hot weather conditions, even in spite of the ongoing work not only on repairs or strengthening of protective measures, but also on finding solutions to attract large volumes of electricity from European countries to Ukraine.
In particular, Ukrenergo is actively working with the Polish side on a potential increase in technical capabilities and an increase in electricity supplies to Ukraine in the autumn-winter period.
The head of the board of Ukrenergo summed up:
We are developing options that should compensate for the deficit caused by Russian attacks. Once agreements are reached, we will provide more details.
Earlier, we wrote about how Ukrenergo commented on the information regarding the introduction of the “zonal” principle of power outages.
