The already complicated situation in the Pokrovsk direction is getting worse — the occupiers are throwing everything that can move/attack into battle, trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As reported by NBN with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Russian occupation army is currently carrying out several operational tactical operations, thus increasing pressure on the Pokrovsky direction.
According to ISW, the “second army of peace” is trying to encircle the positions of Ukrainian troops located in the vicinity of Mirnograd and Grodovka. This tactical operation is taking place along the Novogrodovka-Grodovka line east of the city of Pokrovsk (Donetsk region), and is being carried out with the aim of accelerating the capture of Mirnograd and activating the process of moving to the outskirts of Pokrovsk. At the same time, the Russian generals, judging by everything, consider such operations as factors that allow them to begin intensive offensive actions on Pokrovsk itself.
In addition, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky reported that the most fierce fighting in the Pokrovsk direction continues in the eastern regions of Grodovka, southwest of Grodovka near Krasny Yar, as well as near Novogrodovka and directly east of Selidovo near Mikhaylovka.
