As reported by NBN with a link to the official page of the US Department of Defense, the Pentagon deputy spokesman Sabrina Singh said that the allies' assistance in destroying Iranian drones and missiles over Israel and carrying out similar actions in Ukraine are “two very different landscapes” and, accordingly, “battlefields.”
According to Singh, US President Joseph Biden has committed himself to the US “not putting boots on Ukrainian soil” and will continue to support Ukraine in its efforts to return the occupied sovereign territory, providing all possible military assistance.
However, the question of whether the destruction of enemy targets from the territory of Romania or Poland can be considered similar “putting the boot on,” the Pentagon deputy spokesman – such actions will allegedly drag Western countries into the war not directly, but “in a different way.”
In particular, according to Singh, Ukraine has managed to successfully defend itself from Russian attacks on its cities, population and infrastructure, so the United States will continue to provide the required military support, but will not drag NATO member countries “into the war.”
