A representative of the 33rd separate mechanized brigade told the Espresso TV channel that Russian saboteurs are disguising themselves as fighters of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Donetsk region, NBN writes.
According to Voitenkov, in this guise, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups travel to frontline cities in the region, communicate with local residents, ask them who lives in their houses, and then carry out pinpoint strikes there.
The acting press officer noted that it would be much easier for the Defense Forces if all civilians were evacuated from frontline settlements.
He noted that the city of Kurakhovo, where more than 1,000 people still remain, is constantly suffering from shelling. The occupiers are hitting it with MLRS, artillery installations and aircraft. The invaders are also hitting civilian and military transport using FPV drones.
As reported, military expert Alexander Musienko told where the defenders might retreat after leaving Ugledar.
