As reported by NBN with a link According to Politico, the Biden administration has granted the Trump campaign's request for increased security measures, given the series of assassination attempts and Iranian threats.
According to Biden, he has instructed the State Department to “give him [Trump] whatever he needs.”
It should be noted that the request for increased protection for Trump includes the following measures:
- increased funding for local law enforcement agencies;
- access to federal employees/workers;
- guarantee of additional funding for the Secret Service;
- introduction of temporary airspace restrictions (patrolling the skies with US Air Force fighter jets);
- opening access to a fleet of armored “presidential class” limousines;
- installing bulletproof glass for protection during election rallies.
