As NBN reports with reference to Radio Liberty's material, the South Korean Foreign Ministry expressed “serious concern” about the above-described approval of the defense treaty between Russia and the DPRK, once again calling on Moscow to abandon “illegal cooperation” with Pyongyang.
In particular, Seoul is not only “seriously concerned” about the ratification of the Russian-North Korean agreement on military cooperation, but also once again confirmed the deployment of DPRK troops in Russia. In addition, the South Korean authorities “strongly call” for the immediate withdrawal of North Korean army units from the Russian Federation, and confidently demand an immediate end to “illegal cooperation.”
Also, South Korea warned that it will involve the international community in eliminating this problem, which will allow it to “resolutely respond to the military cooperation” between the Russian Federation and the DPRK, taking appropriate actions as the “military cooperation” between the two dictatorships, Russian and North Korean, progresses.
