As reported by “NBN” with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the top brass of the aggressor country is considering a merger of three major holdings – Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Lukoil, seeking to create the second largest oil producing corporation in the world.
According to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War, such actions will allow the Russian Federation to conclude more profitable energy deals with “non-Western” states. At the same time, the “main player” in the negotiation process on the merger is the head of Rosneft, who is the closest henchman of the Kremlin tyrant Vladimir Putin, Igor Sechin.
In particular, the above-described merger, judging by everything, is aimed at dominance/monopoly on the market, and, accordingly, assumes receiving higher prices for the supply of Russian oil to India or China.
It should be noted that on November 7, Putin, addressing the “Valdai Club”, said that the Russian Federation is ready to sell oil, “blue fuel” and electricity to the PRC in order to compensate for the energy supplies that Beijing lost due to the introduction of sanctions by the West.
