As NBN reports with reference to Polskie Radio's material, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk made statements that the “peace plan” of the newly elected US President Donald Trump regarding Ukraine is apparently in the final stages of development.
Based on Tusk's words, we can soon expect the publication of the relevant declarative documentation from the White House, which will include the following points regarding Ukraine:
- ceasefire date;
- in what perimeter will the war be “frozen” (including the so-called “demilitarized zone”);
- security guarantees.
The head of the Polish government believes that such decisions will make it possible to minimize direct US intervention “in Ukrainian affairs,” but added, “decisions on the war in Ukraine cannot be made over the heads of not only Ukrainians, but also ours [the European Union].”
Earlier, our information portal wrote that Scholz rejected the possibility of holding peace talks in Ukraine without involving Kyiv.
