Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak said at KJF-2024 that Israel has serious geopolitical influence, in particular on the administration of newly elected US President Donald Trump, writes NBN with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
According to the official, the Ukrainian leadership would like Tel Aviv to use its unlimited influence on the White House in order not to tolerate aggressive Russia, which also poses a danger to the Middle East.
A representative of Zelensky's Office explained that in this context, our country wants to receive stronger support for its right to self-defense and strikes against the Russian Federation at all levels.
According to Podolyak, Ukraine and Israel need to work together, since they are not opposed by individual states or organizations, but by an alliance that will gain momentum if not suppressed. He added that only military coercion works against aggressors.
As reported, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on Trump's promise to end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours.
