As reported by “NBN” with a link In response to the explanation given by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga during a telethon on the YouTube channel “TSN”, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken personally and officially confirmed the transfer of the entire volume of promised military aid to Ukraine during the last weeks of President Joseph Biden's term (in the first ten days of January 2025).
Based on Sybiga's words, Washington plans to send the entire batch of weapons/equipment/equipment without any significant delay, in accordance with the direct presidential powers program: this concerns the Presidential drawdown authority (PDA) initiative, according to which military aid is directly shipped from the warehouses of the US Department of Defense (Pentagon), which means prompt delivery to Ukraine.
In addition, Blinken assured Sybiga of the provision of funding for all contracts related to the production of weapons by the US military-industrial complex, as provided for by the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI): under this scheme, weapons are delivered longer than under the above-described Biden presidential initiative.
