The Ukrainian leader noted in his Telegram channel that our country more than anyone in the world wants the war to end and understands that a diplomatic end to hostilities will save more lives, the publication reports “NBN”.
The guarantor reminded the newly elected US leader and the French president that the Kremlin dictator does not want the war to end, so he must be forced to do so. However, Putin can only be forced to stop aggression if Ukraine is strong on the battlefield, armed with long-range weapons such as ATACMS, Storm Shadow, SCALP and Taurus missiles.
The head of state also stressed that Ukraine needs security guarantees while it is not a NATO member. However, today it is difficult to discuss the issue of inviting our country to the Alliance, since Trump has not officially taken office as US President.
It should be noted that the visit to Paris is the Republican's first trip abroad since winning the election. After meeting with Zelensky and Macron, the politician said in a comment to the media that he was developing a concept for how to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.
