A meeting between Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Turkish leader Recep Erdogan in Ankara has been announced in Budapest.

The head of the press service of the Hungarian Prime Minister, Bertalan Havasi, announced that on Thursday, December 12, the head of government will visit Turkey, where he will meet with the president countries, the NBN publication reports, citing the MTI agency.
According to the official, Orban and Erdogan will discuss the “current international situation” during the talks, in particular, they will talk about the Russian war against Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East, and issues related to relations between Budapest and Ankara.
After the meeting with the head of state, the politician will take part in the closing of the Hungarian-Turkish Year of Culture in the capital.
It should be noted that the day before, the Hungarian Prime Minister met with newly elected American leader Donald Trump in Florida. In addition, on Wednesday, December 11, a representative of Budapest held a telephone conversation with the Kremlin dictator. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Orban for communicating with Putin.
Also, the representative of the Russian Presidential Administration Dmitry Peskov reported whether the head of the Hungarian government conveyed a message from the 47th President of the United States to the Russian leader during telephone conversations.
