During an online conversation with readers of the French publication Le Parisien, the President said that no foreign leader has the right negotiate with the head of the Kremlin to end the war without Ukraine. According to him, Kiev has never delegated this mandate to anyone, writes NBN.
Zelensky considers it unfair to talk about how our country should live. The guarantor noted that Ukraine currently lacks the strength to deoccupy its territories, so Kyiv is counting on diplomatic pressure on the aggressor.
The head of state said that under such conditions, Ukraine cannot sit down at the negotiating table with Moscow, because this will give Putin the right to decide everything in our part of the world.
Speaking about the threats of the Kremlin dictator, the president noted that “only fools are not afraid of weapons”, because we are talking about a nuclear war. Zelensky believes that the world does not react harshly enough to such statements by the Russian leader, but all necessary measures must be taken to prevent the aggressor from even thinking about it.
Earlier, the Ukrainian leader spoke about the “mediation” of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in his relations with Donald Trump.
