The day before, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that Kyiv's decision to stop the transit of Russian “blue fuel” through Ukraine would lead to a serious conflict between the countries.

As NBN reports with reference to RTS material, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced that Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico will visit Moscow in a few days to meet with Kremlin tyrant Vladimir Putin, as he seeks to circumvent Ukraine's refusal to extend the transit of Russian gas through its territory.
According to Vucic, he learned about Fico's potential visit from “unofficial sources”, however, they can be trusted. The Serbian leader added that the Slovak prime minister will most likely meet with the Russian dictator no later than Monday, December 23, in an official capacity, as the head of state of a member state of the European Union.
Vucic stressed that it is possible to do without additional assumptions about “what reaction this will cause among other European leaders from the EU”, and this will once again demonstrate “how complicated the situation is becoming.”
At the same time, the Serbian president emphasized that the economies of Slovakia and Austria will suffer the most from Kyiv's decision.
Earlier we wrote about Fico stating that Zelensky tried to “buy” Slovakia’s loyalty on the issue of Ukraine’s accession to NATO.
