As reported by NBN with reference to the material published on the YouTube channel of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Public Utilities, last year the income of the national operator of the country's gas transportation system amounted to 85 percent of the redistribution of Russian gas.
As it became known, payments from domestic consumers of Ukraine covered only 15 percent of the supply of this resource, and therefore, starting from Wednesday, January 1, the business sector and industrial enterprises will be required to pay for the process of transporting 1,000 cubic meters of “blue fuel” no longer 124.16 hryvnia, and 501.97 hryvnia.
Based on the words of the executive director of the Association of Gas Producing Companies of Ukraine, Artem Petrenko, the negative impact of the upward revision of gas transportation tariffs will also affect ordinary consumers, that is, the population, since it will provoke a rise in the price of not only “blue fuel”, but also a number of goods and services by several times.
