In an interview with American podcaster Lex Friedman, the head of Ukraine said that On the second or third day of the full-scale invasion, he had a telephone conversation with the self-proclaimed Belarusian president.
Zelensky revealed that the dictator was then apologizing to him for Putin's strikes on Ukraine from his country's territory, the NBN publication reports.
The press secretary of Putin's ally confirmed in a comment to the Russian propaganda agency RBC that the politicians had a conversation in the first days of the full-scale invasion.
According to Eismont, the conversation allegedly took place due to the emotional reaction of the son of the illegitimate head of the Republic of Belarus – Nikolai had a personal contact of the president of the neighboring state on his phone. According to her, the dictator did not apologize to the leader of the Ukrainians.
“We have nothing to apologize for,” said the representative of Minsk.
The speaker of the self-proclaimed head of the Republic of Belarus added that the war in Ukraine, as the dictator believes, largely occurred due to the policy of its president, who “listened to Western curators” more than was guided by the interests of the Ukrainians.
Recall that in December, the illegitimate head of Belarus asked Putin to deploy the Oreshnik missile systems in his country.
