The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, speaking at the annual meeting of French ambassadors in Paris, warned that European states may soon experience strong pressure to reach a peace agreement with the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the NBN publication with reference to Sikorsky's page on the X social network (former Twitter).
The diplomat noted that Europeans should only agree to a deal that will not allow the aggressive country to recover. According to him, the Russian Federation is much weaker than many in Europe think.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that Ukrainians deserve peace and need it, but its achievement must be based on fair conditions, and not the country's capitulation. The minister called on allies to do everything to strengthen Ukraine's position in the future negotiation process with Moscow.
It should be noted that at a meeting of French ambassadors, President Emmanuel Macron called on Ukraine to hold “real discussions” on territorial issues.
