Power engineers reported whether power outages are expected in the Kyiv region after the massive missile attack by the invaders on the Ukrainian energy system on January 15.

On Wednesday morning, January 15, Russian occupation forces struck energy facilities in Ukraine with missiles, as a result of which in seven regions temporarily introduced emergency power outage schedules by order of NEC Ukrenergo, the NBN publication reports.
Despite another massive attack by the Russian Armed Forces on the energy sector, the situation in the system remains stable, so the company does not predict power outages on Thursday, January 16, as reported in the Kyiv Digital application. At the same time, citizens are urged to consume electricity sparingly from 08:00 to 20:00.
The websites of DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids and DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Grids publish up-to-date information on the state of the energy system and power outage schedules for residents of the capital and the Kyiv region, respectively.
As reported, Naftogaz assessed the consequences of the shelling of critical infrastructure of Ukraine by the Russian Armed Forces on January 15.
