The “Second Army of Peace” is achieving some “successes” in the Donetsk direction, continuing the offensive, the pace of which is unlikely to be too high against the backdrop of winter weather conditions.

As reported by “NBN” with a link to materials published on the Telegram channel of the military-analytical project DeepState and on the official page of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the day before, on January 18, the occupiers managed to advance in the vicinity of a number of settlements in the Donetsk region.
Based on information published by DeepState, the invaders advanced near Kotlin, Udachny, Novoandreyevka, Sukhi Yalami, Bolshaya Novosyolka and occupied Vremovka.
According to ISW analysts, the “liberators” have approached the eastern part of Velyka Novosilka: geolocation footage shows that Putin's troops have entered west of the cemetery. It is assumed that the occupiers will try to take control of this settlement in the coming weeks if they maintain the current speed of advance in the controlled area.
In addition, Saturday's capture of Vremyevka indicates that the Ukrainian army no longer seems to hold positions in the fields south of Velyka Novosilka.
