In a comment to the Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti, Putin's spokesman said that the Russian leadership does not expect that The US position on the war in Ukraine will change, despite statements about readiness for the negotiation process, writes the NBN publication.

The dictator's press secretary also commented on the agreement on a 100-year partnership between Kyiv and London, which was signed on January 16 by Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The agreement provides for cooperation between the two states in the field of defense and security, in particular cooperation in the Sea of ​​Azov, which the Russian Federation considers its internal.

According to Peskov, the United Kingdom is a member of the North Atlantic Alliance, so the possible advancement of NATO military infrastructure to the Russian borders cannot but worry Moscow.
