NEC Ukrenergo did not give an order to turn off the lights in Kyiv and the region on Friday, January 24, despite the high level of electricity consumption in the country, the publication writes “NBN”.
The company reminded that emergency recovery work is ongoing at energy facilities that suffered from attacks by Russian invaders. Ukrainians are asked to consume electricity sparingly, in particular between 08:00 and 20:00.
If the operation of the energy system is disrupted, Ukrenergo will introduce power outage schedules, and consumers will be informed about the volume of restrictions and their duration.
Residents of the capital can view the relevant data on the DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids website, and residents of the region – on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Grids website.
As reported, the Pension Fund of Ukraine reminded about the requirements for a bank account opened for pension accrual.
