At the beginning of 2025, the average pension benefit in Ukraine was UAH 5,789.05, having increased by UAH 403.8 (7.5 percent) in recent months.

As reported by NBN, citing information published on the official website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU), as of January 1 of this year, pension payments exceeding UAH 10,000 were accrued to 1,261,712 elderly citizens.
According to the analysis of the social pension department, the amount of pension benefits paid to the population was distributed as follows:
- less than UAH 3,000 is received by 25.9 percent of pensioners, or 2,684,075 citizens (the average benefit is UAH 2,759.86);
- from UAH 3,001 to UAH 4,000 — 17.9 percent, or 1,817,897 pensioners (the average benefit is UAH 3,544.23);
- from UAH 4,001 to UAH 5,000 — 18.8 percent, or 1,943,939 pensioners (the average benefit is UAH 4,414.06);
- from UAH 5,001 to UAH 10,000 — 25.5 percent, or 2,636,007 pensioners (the average benefit is UAH 6,844.95);
- more than UAH 10,000 — 12.2 percent or 1,261,712 pensioners (the average benefit is UAH 15,379.97).
