As NBN reports with reference to the material of the YouTube channel of journalist Megyn Kelly, the statement was made by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio – the aggression of the Russian Federation returned the infrastructure and demographics of Ukraine to a century ago.

Based on Rubio's words, one of the signs of the above-described regression is the destruction of Ukraine's energy system facilities by strikes from the aggressor country. In addition, there is no one “to pay for the restoration of all this”, since a certain part of the population left Ukraine and now lives in other countries. A senior American official is confident that the Ukrainians who left may never return, since their “future is under threat.”

Rubio added that the Biden administration was able to convince people that Ukraine is capable of “not just defeating Russia, but destroying it,” and returning the borders of 2012-2014.

At the same time, the Trumpist functionary emphasized that continuing the war against the Russian Federation is destroying Ukraine, and the United States is financing a dead end and a long-term conflict, while Kyiv “loses more and more territory.”

The head of the US State Department emphasized that it is very difficult for President Volodymyr Zelensky to make concessions to the Russian Federation for settlement of the “conflict”, but it is necessary to come to terms with the “real state of affairs”.

Earlier we wrote about the fact that the US State Department partially unblocked American aid to a number of foreign programs.
