As reported by NBN with reference to information published in the official Telegram profile of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, in accordance with the above agreement, London has committed to providing Ukraine with about 2 billion pounds sterling (equivalent to 2.4 billion US dollars).
Based on the words of the domestic prime minister, Ukraine will spend these funds on the acquisition of air defense/missile defense systems/complexes, ammunition for Western air defense systems, and will finance the creation of repair and restoration bases for military equipment and other weapons systems.
Shmyhal added that such measures will significantly strengthen Ukraine's defense potential, and will also be able to expand the system, the purpose of which is to protect our skies from air strikes by a terrorist state.
