According to the forecast of the “Ukrhydrometeorological Center”, in early February the air temperature will remain relatively high, in the range of -3… +2 degrees, that is, the only threat of power outage is a combined attack by the Russian Federation, but not a sharp cold snap.

As NBN reports with a link to the Telegram account of DTEK's press service, the power generating capacities the domestic energy system permanently covers the current needs of the population, and therefore on Sunday a return to regular power outages, both in the capital and in the Kyiv region, is not expected.
Let us recall that recently, NEC Ukrenergo denied rumors regarding the introduction of forced power outage schedules due to the predicted drop in temperature indicators. That is, the expected weather conditions will not have a noticeable impact on the power grid: there is no need for restrictions in resource supplies, and all scenarios, including emergency ones, have been worked out at the appropriate level.
Thus, the unexpected use of emergency/stabilization power outage schedules is possible only as a result of a massive air strike by the Russian Federation on power grid facilities. All the most “recent” information regarding the termination/restoration of power supply is available on the DTEK pages on the Internet:
- residents of Kiev;
- residents of the Kyiv region.
Earlier, our portal reported on how Ukrenergo commented on rumors about the introduction of power outage schedules from Monday, February 3.
